After conditioning the green tree pythons for a month, it was time to put them together. Both snakes are in optimal health and they have the ideal weight. The first few hours nothing really happened, but when I woke up in the morning there was some action going on. I added some pictures of the whole event, stay tuned for further updates on this project.

Morelia Viridis project
After my successful first breeding year with amazing results, 4 Bels in one clutch, I want to take my breeding program for 2013 a step further and try my luck ;-)
I'm gonna try breeding a couple of my Morelia Viridis: Liberty*Absinth
Liberty: This female is a bokondi, but looking at her family tree ( imported from USA) there also should be some mite phase in her DNA. She has fairly monotone green colouring with a few yellow accents on the verge between her belly and back. She has a very soft character and is used to handling, at the moment she weighs about 1 kilo.

Absinth: This male is a mountain cyclops, he has a nice clear blue detail on his back with some white accents. He weighs about 500 grams and is in mint condition. So hopefully he hits it off with Liberty.
I already began lowering the temperatures in both cages and I'm planning to put them together in a few weeks. I hope by christmas I can show you pics of some action between them ;-)
